A Celebration of Creativity and Hope

On Tuesday, October 14 at The Community House in Birmingham, Make-A-Wish® Michigan will debut Art of the Wish—a new signature fall event that brings the power of wishes to life through art.

This thoughtfully reimagined experience will take the place of Wish Ball Detroit, which has brought immense joy and impact over the years. While we’ll always be grateful for those memories, we’re excited to invite you into a new chapter—one that celebrates the beauty of wishes through art, storytelling, and connection.

 
This special evening will feature a dazzling wish reveal, a gallery of meaningful and inspiring artwork created by wish kids, their families, and talented local artists. In a unique collaboration, several artists have been paired with wish kids to create exclusive pieces that 
beautifully capture each child’s one-of-a-kind wish journey. Through this celebration of creativity and hope, guests will experience firsthand the transformational impact of a wish—and help make more wishes possible for children in our community.
